- Problem: Creamy white teeth.
In general, our fees are on par with the median fees charged by general dentists in South Australia. Our consult fee is $75. This is the most important session of the entire treatment as in the consult appointment you learn valuable information about your teeth, how to care for them and what options you have as far as treatments are concerned.
At the initial consultation, treatment options are discussed, and estimations of price are given. You can go home and think about it, get a second opinion and call us when you are ready to proceed. You are not under any obligation to continue if you don't want to.
Usually, we have a detailed conversation about what you like to have treated, changed or improved. Then we do an examination of your teeth and gums and discuss options. Often other records such as x-rays and models of your teeth are needed. Sometimes a mock up is performed so you can see the proposed treatment plan. These records attract their own fees and are planned with your consent accordingly.
All fees (except some of the bleaching item numbers) are eligible for a rebate from your private health fund. Medicare does not pay for dental treatments except for children of eligible families.
You can cancel your appointment with 24 hours notice. We book this time especially for you, and if you decide not to come to your appointment without giving us enough notice, you will be charged the appointment fee.
A fee of $100 per hour is charged to cover some of the costs of your appointment if you do not give us at least 24 hours of notice.
